Chicken Breasts with Cream

Chicken breasts are a popular choice, and when paired with a creamy Madeira wine sauce, they transform into a gourmet delight.

Ingredients

Chicken
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 tsp. butter
  • Salt and white pepper
Cream and Wine Sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Madeira wine
  • 2 tsp. chopped parsley
  • A few drops of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Here are the instructions to do Chicken Breasts with Cream

  • Step 01: Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Step 02: Flatten each chicken breast and cut them in half. Season with lemon juice, salt, and white pepper.
  • Step 03: Heat butter in a skillet and cook the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown. Transfer them to a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Step 04: In the same skillet, add chicken broth and Madeira wine. Simmer, and then add heavy cream and parsley. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Step 05: Season the sauce with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Pour over the chicken breasts and serve immediately.
