A cherished favorite, Nahla’s chicken pasta is a dish enjoyed by both young and old.
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 250 g. pasta
- 1 large chopped onion
- Pinch of garlic (optional)
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste or sauce (or ½ kg ripe tomatoes, chopped)
- 100 gr grated Parmesan or other cheese
- 1 tbsp. dried thyme
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
Here are the instructions to do Chicken Pasta
- Step 01: Boil the chicken, debone, and cut into small pieces, reserving the broth for the sauce.
- Step 02: Boil the pasta and rinse under cold water.
- Step 03: Sauté onion in oil, add flour, then tomatoes and broth gradually while stirring. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Step 04: Simmer until sauce thickens, then add the chicken and cook briefly.
- Step 05: Serve pasta with sauce on the side or combine them, place them in a baking dish, top with cheese, and bake f in a preheated oven or 15 minutes.
